Dr Giovanna Muscogiuri
Dr Giovanna Muscogiuri an Assistant Professor of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at University Federico II of Naples. She completed her PhD (2012) on metabolic diseases at Catholic University of Rome.
She also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she investigated the role of oxidative stress in Type 2 diabetes. Muscogiuri’s research mainly involves dietary interventions, sleep-diet interactions and their impact on obesity, cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. She was awarded with Cuthbertson Award Medal by The Nutrition Society.
