Dr Nicola Guess
Nicola Guess is a registered dietitian and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster. She is a recognised international expert in the area of diet and T2D, being past-vice chair of the Diabetes Management and Education Group of the British Dietetic Association; a Diabetes UK Allied Health Professional Fellow; a 2018 NICE scholar looking at inpatient meal provision for people with diabetes; Head of Nutrition and the Dasman Diabetes Institute in Kuwait and a graduate of the Diabetes UK iDia (innovators in diabetes) programme. She is currently an expert advisor for the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) Centre of Guidelines, and a member of the Diabetes UK Clinical Studies Group for the management and prevention of T2D and its complications. She has been principal or co-investigator on 10+ trials in the area of T2D prevention and management.
